How to make a lighter martini cocktail: Due to its additional ice and ginger ale, the Long Martini Cocktail can be considered a lighter, lower ABV version of a martini cocktail.
Another lower ABV martini cocktail would be the Wet Martini Cocktail, with its higher proportion of vermouth to vodka, or even a 50/50 martini cocktail, with equal parts vodka and vermouth.
